I am a Norwegian man that has recently decided to explore this side of the world, and this side of my life.
I had an experience when I was a kid, with me and a friend trying to interact with the unknown. The results were quite shocking and bizarre.
I will not go into what happened here as it frankly sounds outlandish I doubt anyone would take it seriously.
I have not experienced this since that time. But I have always felt like there is something in the back of my mind...actually sort of behind my head if that makes any sense.

I am quite an avid reader, so I have purchased a collection of books I figured could be worth a read.
-Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis (The Lesser Key of Solomon) Full version with Ars Goetia, Theurgia Goetia, Ars Paulina, Ars Almadel and Ars Notoria.
-Munich Manual of Demonic Magic -- CLM 849 of the Bavarian State Library - Munich
-La véritable magie noire
-Grimorium Verum
-The Sworn Book of Honorius: Liber Iuratus Honorii

I have started with the Oera Linda book, but am willing to swap to another one if that is recommended.
I am going all the way with this. Want to learn it all.
I hope you can share some of your wisdom to help me get started.
Any suggestions as to any books I should acquire would be very much appreciated!!

Thanks in advance

Cpt Howdy

I recommend reading into all of the potential esoteric faiths you can find information on, and you'll quickly find they're much the same. Thats when the real studying begins :-)

It depends what you are after. If you just want knowledge, then I suggest starting with some philosophy and some books on what this is all about. If you want to practice, then I suggest a system and some books for beginers. I am rather fond of the Magicians Companion on Lewellyn press, and Magick in Theory and Practice by Aliester Crowley. Also of note are a couple books by David Alan Hulse called the Eastern and the Western Mysteries.

Try to focus on your aim. You can be a historian, or a practitioner, or a philosopher.

A good quote I heard once went something like this:

A man asked a Greek philosopher what the Gods wanted. He replied that he does not know, but he could say that they do not like curious persons.
