Hey there,

I've been watching this board for quite some time (lurking)! I like how it's got lots of possibilities / categories for various topics, et al.
Recently I've noticed an increase in post dates that grabbed my attention, and I was glad to see some activity. This renewed activity is what changed the Lurking into Action! My praxis consists of a tuned selection of Sorcery, Ceremonial Magic, Folk - Cunning- Ye Olde Wiccecraeft, and a few other things too numerous to mention in a short intro. It encompasses both Thaumaturgy and Theurgy. These blend seamlessly in my life and praxis. It weaves crookedly and serpent like between the so-called Left and Right Hand paths, touching upon Both and yet more than the sum of the parts, because it also includes everyday techniques too.

The main focal points I'd like to talk about on this board are in no certain order: Graeco-Egyptian Magic, Sorcery, and Folk Craft of all kinds, perhaps with a dash of psionics for an "empty hand" touch.

This suggests that the "magic" is not being done by a mage and therefore is not mage-ic.

As with military actions, the first step is to establish a line of retreat.

The simplest measure is to have a greater being mind your back.

For myself, I like to be able to go back along the timeline of the activity to before the event, and make a better decision.

So far that has always worked with energy/relationship events - but I have not had to try that with a physical event.

It is safer to make the action decision then test it by moving forward in time to see if it feels good in a year or two. If not, I make a different decision and test that. Eventually I find a decision that is easy to live with.
