Introduction To Myself

Post by WitchyCuriosities »

Hello all!
Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction, I’ve named my account WitchyCuriosities purely because I’m curious about witchcraft

Would love to get to know everyone here, I’m particularly very interested first in the lore and history of demons, and I would just love to understand real magic. Not the Harry potter type stuff, but real genuine magick. I’m looking forward to going on this journey with you all

Welcome!

Might unpopular opinion in some cultist circles, but Demons (Daimons, Daemons) - are godlike, divine spirits, sometimes even actual Gods. You will come across "experts" claiming otherwise - all them are false prophets!

I'm always half-serious about everything, but the most import point I'd like to make is that it will help you a lot on your journey to take extra care when constructing your own personal gnosis using other people's definitions, terminologies, believes, experiences and recollections of those.

Good luck!

Long ago there was a saying: Demon Deus inversus est.

Demon is the inverse of Deus (God)

That can be seen in the Kabbalistic Tzimtzum - the outbreath to dark separation followed by the inbreath to light unity.

Similarly in the yin-yang.

Similarly: In the beginning was the Word.

To speak a word requires an outbreath. The full cycle of out and in can be called: The Revelation of the Word

Welcome to the Forum. Witchcraft is a very interesting field. A couple focal points I've noted for those inclined:

-Herb Lore
-Crystals
-Forests
-Lunar Magick
-Hedge Jumping (Astral Projection)
-Divination (many witches love there cards)
-Spirit Contact and Offerings
-Curse Work
-Necromancy

.........etc.

People are talented in different areas, so it's important to figure out your strengths. A couple of books that may be of interest:

-Apocalyptic Witchcraft by Peter Grey
-The Crooked Path by Kelden
-Protection and Reversal Magick by Jason Miller

Hekate is a goddess you might consider exploring......she has many books, so I'll refrain from recommending a single work.......she is known to initiate witches. Best of luck.
