Any of you care to share your experiences with the various Druidic organizations around today?
I plan to meet with some ADF (Ar nDraiocht Fein, A Druid Fellowship) members soon.

I only know of an online Druid organisation, OBOD. (http://www.druidry.org)
A nice forum, some very experienced and dedicated people there. Its a good place to start to take up Druidry as your path.
They also offer a training course, maybe someone here has done the course?
Well, hope that helps.

like all organizations of the past, the present ones still have a balance between the good and the currupt. i would recommend you find out as much as you can about them before you join. you want to make sure they're good and youll be safe. im not saying all are bad though. so i hope your search goes well!

I am currently studying for my Bardic grade within OBOD.
I chose OBOD as opposed to anyone else basically because I was invited to my grove first, and that's who they happened to be with. I spent 6 months with the grove before I officially joined the order.
I do like OBOD, I get on better with their ideas than most. They arn't overtly neo-pagan, but neither are they overtly ceremonial (not the masonic types). The course material is very good, thorough, progressive and plentiful, it's not cheap, but you do get your moneysworth. A lot of the early gwersu are fairly basic, and go over old ground, but as you go on they start to tackle some quite heavy stuff, some of that was also going over old ground for me, but from a different approach which I found very helpful. I am also about to contact my mentor for the first time (you are assigned a mentor with the course, I have not poked mine yet because I have people in the grove to poke, but then it's not thier job to read my essays).
So yeah, thats about it really. I don't have any complaints, they have always been very helpful, there was a bit of an admin glitch once, but that was all sorted out fine, very quickly.
