i have searched briefly, but even such sources as wikipedia cant be taken directly(imo)
and i would prefer testaments of people who have de-cyphered his history....but sorry for the inconveniance(sp)
and im more intrested in his victory's such as (something like) 'he wears upper n lower egypt on his brow'
and his relationships to the cybelenes

hi

im not an expert but i know some info about him, well he was the heir of Hatsehpsut, one of the few women pharaohs. it is beleived that the statue of amun was going past hima nd he bowed down to tuthmose, showing he was the son of amun. this was probably a political trick arranged to show that Hatsehpsut's own claim to be child of amun was wrong. when he became Pharaoh he obliterated all traces of her name that he could find even on her obelisks at karnak. well thats all i can remember hope this is useful.

If I remember, he was a very controlling and demanding king. People viewed him as someone who was mighty and strong and people were too scared of him.
