Sorry for the day... Who participated this time around, and has there been any change in her condition, Kelsrean?

The Asclepius Project

I hope that everyone has a pleasant Easter weekend. Unless everyone is busy, is anyone interested in trying another group working at 3:00 PM EST on Sunday, April 19th? Or is there a better time that would work well for everyone?

Also, would some sort of mailing list be useful for those involved, so ...

The Asclepius Project

I will be driving most of the day tomorrow, and will most likely not be getting in until after 12:00 AM EST. If it is at all possible, sometime Tuesday evening would be much more accomodating, for me personally.

I will help your mother when I am able to on Sunday; however, it will most likely be much later in the day than is convenient for others.

It would be a shame to let this project fall into disuse after such a blatant success on the first operation. I will be editing the original post using the information I have gained from this.

To continue the project, it is obvious that we need another person who desires some sort of healing. If ...

1. A more respectable banner to put at the top of the forums. There is nothing wrong with the one that has been posted, but it could still use some work. We should have multiple options, then vote on the one that is the most to our overall liking.

2. A banner to put in signatures on other forums ...

Humorous. Although it strikes me that if that time had been spent making an actual banner, we would have a better banner now to put up at the top of the site.

Magick: Objective or Subjective?

It is of little use to win arguments based around attacking the untestable experience of others. There are far more ludicrous methods of spellcasting out there, yet still obtain the desired results. User Shaam's method does not strike me as being unbelievable from a theoretical perspective.

It appears that I have missed the "prank" as well. However, my views are in line with Kath's. If no data was lost, it is of little concern.

Growth.

I suppose I am simply being impatient.

Everyone has been doing a good job so far; the forums are set up beautifully, trolls are being taken care of, and we have already executed a successful healing project.

But what other outreach can we do?

Growth.

We now have the forum. It is set up adequately (despite my incessant moanings for a more elegant banner).

We need more members.

They are slowly trickling in, but it seems to me that there must be something more than we can do.

Suggestions?

I am sorry, I cannot calculate the changes in time zones with respect to that. I was under the assumption Daylight Savings Time had already taken affect.

That is an interesting proposition, Shaam, as well as one that I have not heard of previously. However, at this point in time, I do not feel that we have enough members from enough varying time zones to make that feasible among the four of us. I will definitely remember this, once we have more ...

There is no reason that I can see not to start the project with you Shaam.

The next area to address is how each of you would like to go about the healing. It is clear to me that each of us come from different backgrounds in the healing arts. If all of us were to only try one method, I believe that ...

I have voted in favor of "Take into Consideration".

I know MagiAwen and AntiClair for some time now, and they have never proven to be "trouble".

I will be awaiting curiously to see whom else they have listed.

It makes me glad to see that others feel similarly.

At this point in time, we have the healers; Four, including myself. A healer is one who heals. This is rendered impossible if there is no one around who needs healing. This leaves us with two directions to pursue. One, someone can either cause ...

Global Unity Meditation on 11th September 2008 @ 11:11pm GMT

Like Zelos, I have heard of many groups undertaking similar projects. Given that they are designed to affect the world on a global scale, it is difficult to discern exactly how "effective" they are.

If people are interested in making a project out of it, then perhaps we could focus on a certain ...

There are two constants that can be seen throughout human history; suffering, and the few who care enough to try to do something about it. This thread/sticky/project is directed at both. Post what you would like to be healed, and others (whether through simple good will, boredom, a desire to simply ...

What would you like to see added to the board?

I second Enlilki. A matter of personal preference, but I would also like to see a more... elegant banner. I'm not a graphic designer, but I'm sure there are at least a few in our midst.

Also, is there any way to divide a person's signature from the rest of their posts?

Finally, after the momentum ...
