Buying books

Would you pay for an excerpt of a novel, if you got the entire novel at a discounted price later? (Bigger discount than the cost of the excerpt).

What about if that same offer was made in a coffee shop such as Starbucks? So you pay for your coffee then 20p for an excerpt from a novel?

I should ...

Re: Big Magical Projects

I've got myself wrapped up in a few big projects the last week - one of them being starting my own marketing business, oops?

I'll do what I can to get this out through social media and what-not. May be able to sneak it around into my writers based stuff at some point in the not too distant future ...

Re: Gemstones and gods.

Thanks :)

I think part of the reason it calls and appeals is because Loki is my primary, my main god. I'm used to being careful and respectful. So far, I'm really pleased with the results. I have asked nothing of the stone, just that it does as it feels I need. I feel.. me again. It's been a long ...

Of course i'm sure. [happyface] hmmm..i strongly believe that when an amulet of gem stones brake, you should leave it to mother earth. You can do nothing more.It means something. It's a message. So maybe you should consider buying a new one and do all the appropriate procedure. [wink]

Re: Gemstones and gods.

o.O are you sure...? I mean, friends call me an insatiable sponge and a black hole for knowledge... lol.

I have an odd thing with gemstones (it's my thread I'm allowed to de-rail it!) - there's a mutual attraction, I bring them home, make them all comfy and happy then that's it. Bar my necklace ...

Gemstones and gods.

I'm looking for personal opinions, views etc. Oh and gemstones seemed an easy catch-all for all stones, precious, semi-precious, the lot.

So. In your personal opinion and experiences, which stones would you associate with:

Loki.
Odin.
Set
Bast
Epona.
Annubis.

What can I say - I'm just a ...

I'm not awake enough to go find youtube clips - later when the sun's back in a better position :-P

I like:
Lee Evans
Jimmy Carr - can be a bit hit and miss sometimes but the word plays are brilliant.
Russell Howard - like Jimmy, sometimes hit and miss but brilliant.
Black Adder's absolutely ...

The one on my ribs is a zebra - my totem. Then I have a phoenix on my shoulder blade, and plans for a magpie and raven on my thigh.

Re: How do you people look?

I hate having my pic taken.. and mirrors. So, this is last year's annual pic. Lack of clothing due it to it being my male's choice and him being a hot blooded squaddie..
Oh and I was saying "What the Eff am I supposed to do with myself..I hate pics!"

Egyptian god Nehebkaw

Before anyone says it - yes, I have googled him.

So, does anyone know anything more than the 3 sentences google has offered me up about him? I was doing some very intense meditation and energy work earlier and yea. Any info welcomed. Thanks.

Re: pan and loki

Personally - I love Loki and work closely with him. However! No. I wouldn't recommend you or probably anyone else tries to work him, there are plenty of far ... kinder, less chaotic gods to work with. If you're really interested in both of those then I'd definitely recommend you go Pan over Loki ...

Who's doing what here then?

From what I can see this had great enthusiasm and now people have wandered off and got bored! This is a great project and experiment, something to be a part of, get involved in and help push. It cannot and will not work if people just expect it to happen around them!

I ...

Re: Post a picture of your furry friend

This is my baby Ziggy. I bought him as a completely wild 18month old colt. He'd been beaten and left in a field to starve - he's gypsy bred and they don't like bays (he's the wrong colour for them!). He was terrified and skin and bone when I got him. I couldn't ask for a better horse, I absolutely ...

Re: language translation from phonetics - can anyone help me

I spoke with a friend about this and we reached this conclusion:

The chant was most likely have been closer to:
Zhafa Khai, Khafa Gifa Ha

It sounds like a gatekeepers chant - to get the soul into the underworld, we think it is to implore the gods to take them to the first of the gates.

Usually it ...

Using the sigils in a twin manner does seem the logical option Albion. You want to create the biggest impact and drive it home to push the point and get this to work.
